NEW EVENTS
FLEXERCISE
Flexercise classes re-start in the Hogg Hall on Wednesday 8th September at 10.15 am. This is a fun, sociable class for the over 50s including movement, strengthening and flexibility exercises. We will be starting gently as we return to face-to-face classes. If you are interested in the class, please contact Helen on 01560 320001/07599909484 or email drhelenlgreen@aol.com to find out more. FOODBANK: Collections of donations for the Salvation Army Foodbank are taken on the first Sunday of each month. Next collection - Sunday 1 March.
NEWMILNS AND GALSTON: Brass Band’s Spring Concert, featuring N.G. Youth Academy, is on Friday
21 February, in New Laigh Kirk, Kilmarnock at 7.30pm. Admission £5 (£3 concession).
AHRENSFELDE WELCOME COMMITTEE: meet in the Session House on Sunday 23 February after
morning worship (approximately 12.15).
PAUSE FOR HOPE: in Kay Park Parish Church on Sunday 23 February at 3pm. A prayer service to help
all those affected by cancer in any way. The gathering will include music, readings, prayers and an
opportunity to light a candle of remembrance and hope.
THE GUILD: meets on Monday 24 February at 7.30pm. Therapet Dogs (Linda Whitby).
THE BOYS’ BRIGADE: are holding an over-18s Quiz in the Mission Hall at 7pm on Saturday 29
February. the Cost is £4 per person or £12 for a team of four. £10 voucher for each member of the
winning team.
Boys’ Brigade Battalion Parade - Sunday 15 March
TEA AT THE HOGG: is on Thursday 5 March, 2-3.30pm in the Hogg Hall. Mike Ryan.
WORLD DAY OF PRAYER: service is on Friday 6 March at 2pm and is being hosted by St Sophia's
Church, Bentinck Street, Galston. An invitation is extended to all, male and female. If you are
interested in reading or taking an active role in the service then please contact Anne Green by phone
on 07565938954 or by email at anna.musicality@gmail.com as soon as possible. Tea and
refreshments will be available in the hall after the service.
KIRK SESSION: meets on Wednesday 11 March at 7.30pm in the Hogg Hall.
